CNN.com - Study: 'Guys can afford to wait to marry' - June 27, 2002 "It's official. Men really are afraid of commitment."
I'm afraid of committment too... I have waited to marry, and have no thoughts of matrimony at present (since there's nobody in particular I'm not married to). But the ramifications this article suggest are bad for women who would like to marry. The article seems to suggest that women are doomed because they're "giving the milk away for free"!
One thing though that I don't understand... "Once a woman gets into her 30s, it's more likely that she will have to marry a man who was married earlier."
Well, who are these guys who've married before if guys aren't interested in getting married? What, are women just marrying the same guys over & over? Like there's this limited pool of men who want to get married, and women just wait in line for them to divorce the previous lady?

He's planting seeds... A farmer planting the seeds of doubt. That's not cool. That's why I like the song "Home on the Range" - "where seldom is heard, a discouraging word..."
