Caught with their pants down

Yahoo! News - Robbers Caught with Pants Down
Two Greek bank robbers were in jail on Friday after literally being caught with their pants down... were arrested in a nearby building with their pants down as they changed into swimming trunks in a bid to portray themselves as innocent tourists. "They were caught with their pants down," a police spokesman told reporters.
Perhaps I'm entering my second childhood prematurely, but I find this highly amusing.

Sensationalism I probably shouldn't find funny

Yahoo! News - Gangs Busted for Forcing Disabled to Beg
This headline conjures up visions of gangs with knives & guns pointed at people in wheel chairs shouting things like "On your knees or we don't give you back your motorized wheel controller!"
In reality, the article states: 'Spanish police have broken up two Romanian gangs and arrested 15 people on suspicion of smuggling physically-disabled immigrants into Spain and forcing them to beg on the streets, officials said on Wednesday.' Which is harsh & not a funny thing at all.

Every girl's nightmare

Yahoo! News - Stinky Flower Blooms Anew
The flower is one of the world's rarest, biggest and smelliest plants. It produces a huge, brief bloom that gives off an offensive odor. "People say it smells like rotting flesh," Beyler said.
I'm almost positive I know some men who might choose this over roses on the grounds that it's just so rare.

LitterBox Cam

LitterBox Cam
Need I say more? haha.
I did actually see a fluffy cat at one point. It wasn't in the litter box, it was just kind of sitting there.
This is definitely not a view one would ever see on my web site, if I ever did have a web cam. First, I feel bad for the cats' privacy in a way. Furthermore, my cats' cat box area is never quite that tidy. Perhaps my cats are slobs. Or maybe I'm the slob. Maybe I should get a web cam & point it at the litter box, & I'd be sweeping up the litter around it more often. heh.

Making private company memos public

...for the enjoyment of all
INTERNALMEMOS.COM - Internet's largest collection of corporate memos and internal communication
This site posts internal company memos, for anyone who's interested. I think it's a chore to read some of the company memos I receive at my own workplace, (hah), so I really can't see myself visiting this site very often. heh.

Top Twenty Blogger Insults

Find the list @ Davezilla | One blog to rule them all
My favourite is #7. However, I wonder where the insult regarding the site where you can't read the text on the page because the text & background don't have enough contrast. That would be #1 on a list I would make. heh.

The Ultimate Computer Chair

The Ultimate Computer Chair by Roger Arrick
"Since I spend 3+ hours a day on the computer working and playing, I figured that it should be comfortable."
Just 3+ hours a day, and he worked so hard to be that comfortable? What a big baby! I spent about 6+ hours per day for 2 years with a wooden chair with no arm rests. heh.
