After some goldfish go mysteriously missing, paranormal causes are suspected, and Cat Mulder & Kitty Scully are there to investigate the matter. Seen here, they pose for an impromptu photograph during their investigation, caught interviewing the remaining goldfish in the fishbowl.

looks like they were up to something - then tried to act all nonchalant when they realized the camera was there - we have an outdoor pond w/fish and i always one of our cats on the prowl

When my friend Alison first showed me this photo - I just couldn't get over how almost-human-like the cats look in this photo - as if they were up to something, but also like they were posing in a way.
Both Alison & I now have fishbowls with bettas. You can see photos of her fish on her journal, and photos of mine on my weblog.
Alison doesn't live with cats anymore. But I have one. My Nikita isn't at all interested in the fishbowl, (knock on wood). But I'm hesitant to put a real plant in the fish bowl, because I know she'd go after that. I have to keep all plants well out of her reach or she'll eat them.
