And as a special tribute, John D., Allison, and Margie made an instructional video on how to Talk Like A Pirate: Watermelon Punch - Talk Like A Pirate Day - Allison & Margie's instructional video As it happens, just a couple of weeks ago, it was my baby cousin Madison's birthday, and for her gift, I gave her the children's book, The Pirate Girl I highly recommend it. I read it and enjoyed it myself. Of course I'm rather fond of pirate stories. And I figured 2 years old was as good a time as any to get Madison into them.
