As it happens, just a couple of weeks ago, it was my baby cousin Madison's birthday, and for her gift, I gave her the children's book, The Pirate Girl
I highly recommend it. I read it and enjoyed it myself.
Of course I'm rather fond of pirate stories.
And I figured 2 years old was as good a time as any to get Madison into them.

The man who conceived of 'Big Brother' never knew what was coming down the line. Thought his filthy creation was going to be watching us, but it is us who watch it. There's one in every living room. And the monstrous injustice of it is, we stare at it of our own free will.
