wife beater fashion in style & grammatically correct

Trish Wilson's Blog: Term "Wife Beater" Gains Acceptance
(I'm going to start calling cheap dress shirts & pencil mustaches "child molesters" - who's with me?)

I used to know a guy, about 10 years ago, who called handlebar mustaches "wife beater mustaches". And it was odd because after I heard him say that, I actually saw 2 tv shows about spousal abuse, and both perpetrators, on both shows, had handlebar mustaches. (One show was Walker Texas Ranger, of course.)

But anyway, why don't we start calling cheap men's dress shirts "child molesters". And how about calling diamond engagement rings "gold diggers". And we can come up with a plethora of clothing items for various nefarious terms... Such as "arsonist", "serial killer", "drunk driver", "stalker", etc.
