looks like the baywatch knight rider needs someone to reach out & rescue him now
According to eyewitness accounts supported by video, the 54-year-old actor, who was in London shooting a TV commercial, appeared befuddled, had trouble standing, mumbled incoherently to other passengers (Sky News quoted one witness who overheard him say, "My life is a mess.") and made a pass at a shop clerk.
Airline officials decided Hasselhoff was too loopy to fly.
.....
His divorce with Bach has been anything but amicable, with the two trading allegations of physical and emotional abuse.
The medication that Katz referred to was to treat an infection in the actor's right arm. He underwent emergency surgery in London about three weeks ago after slicing four tendons and an artery during a bizarre shaving accident in his hotel.
The incident was much ridiculed by the British tabloid press, which pointed to allegedly unsteady behavior at Wimbledon several weeks ago to deduce that Hasselhoff was so "steaming drunk" that security had to escort him out of the All England Club. He's denied the allegations.
maybe someday our culture WILL get out of this idea that sleep is like some kind of bad habit or something...
I don't know if I'd pay $14 for a 20 minute nap, no matter how comfy the accomodations.
However, it's a good sign that finally people are starting to see there's nothing shameful about sleep. It's not just good for you, it's necessary for survival (and certainly sanity).
It just amazes me to hear people talk about sleep as if it's the activity of a lazy person.
Or worse, I've even heard nap-taking compared with mind-altering drug use or video game addiction.
If you're sleeping more than you're awake, then yeah, there's a problem. But I just don't see taking naps as "a waste of time" or a "bad habit".
I think most Americans don't rest enough... And that's why everyone's so irate frequently, and we have a reputation for being obnoxious around the world! I really believe if we all just got some more snooze, the world would be a more peaceful place.
if you've ever wondered why women dislike "nice guys"
"Nice guys" are often worse than your garden variety jerks, because at least the jerks are honest... A veil of politeness doesn't make up for a lack of character & integrity.
When asked why she didn't give the name of the man who attacked her with an ax in the book, Terri Jentz said,
"I really do think that our culture glamourizes criminals, and if I were to use his real name, I was concerned that there would be a lot of women who would write to him, and want to reform him"
Sadly, this is probably true.
When asked why she never confronted her attacker, she said,
"A lot of people ask me that. And the reason is quite simple. He has denied this crime his entire life, and there's no way that he's going to suddenly give up a confession to me. By confronting him, I would just be granting him the power to lie to me. It doesn't seem a good use of my time, nor does it seem particularly safe, because he is a dangerous character. So I've decided that I would never confront him in that way."
so the minimum wage will increase to $7.15 per hour... What I want to know is how anyone supports themselves on $7.15 an hour, let alone to be supporting kids on that income??
Under the new law, Pennsylvania's minimum wage will rise to $6.25 an hour on Jan. 1, 2007, then to $7.15 an hour on July 1, 2007.
"You're about to go into brain surgery. You really want to hear that your physician has been working a 14 hour day & hasn't been on vacation in 6 months. OF COURSE NOT!"
