Two great reasons to get out and walk this weekend
September 29
Christopher Robinson Memorial Aids Walk. Registration 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wilkes Football Field (Ralston Field) near Kirby Park. Walk begins at 1 p.m. Join us at Barnes and Noble for a books fair, a percentage of proceeds will be donated to the Wyoming Valley Aids Council, Inc... please ask for your coupon. Ronald McDonald House 5K Run & Fun Walk. Registration: $8 entry payable to Ronald McDonald House of Scranton. Team entry fee is $35 plus $7 for each runner. Race day registration 8:30-10:15 a.m. Nay Aug Park in Scranton (near the Everhart Museum). Race day: Nay Aug Park. Prizes, ribbons, magic show for kids age 7-12, free and no pre-registration.
