Walking to Cafe Rouge the other night, I was caught in a flurry of seeds near Kirby Park. It was like standing inside a snowglobe - little tufts of white slowly drifting from the banks of the river and blanketing the sides of the road. About a month or so ago the air of the whole east side was filled with them - if my car windows were open they would invite themselves in and out. Some plant by the river is prolific this year!
